Do yourselves a favor and just avoid any of those interviews with "undecided" people. I'm convinced those are all bullshit. They either get the most idiotic morons they can find--"both parties are the same"--or it's just publicity-seeking aholes willing to say whatever will get people churned up.

Whichever, I don't need a reminder of just how shitty the American public is, or how devoid of logical thinking most people are. If one of those dolts said "I don't like Harris because they don't make orange lawnmowers anymore" I'd show a complete lack of surprise. That's no more nonsensical than anything else they spout.

I saw one headline on Apple news about Harris getting a big boost in polls--to go against what was posted above--but I don't pay for Apple news and couldn't read further. We'll see.

Imagine a retiree who didn't retire with a pension, has barely any savings, and who has to on rely on old age supplemental income, with ever rising inflation, food prices, rents etc. It's crazy just trying to survive with the very basic needs, just enough to get one meal per day.

I think there was fair bit of nonsense on both sides. It was a toss up.

They had a roughly equal performance. I dont see myself voting for either of them, the first election missed since 1988.

That is standard procedure for one simple reason. It saves lives!

There are many more firefighter/EMTs units than EMS crews. Every department I am familiar with (and having been a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years, and have a grandson that is a Firefighter/Paramedic it's a few) the minimum requirement to be hired is firefighter certifications, and EMT certification (or higher).

Statistics clearly show that trained medical response sooner saves lives.

In my area, there are about 20+ EMS units staffed with Paramedics. At any time, many of those are busy taking care of patients or at the hospital transferring a patient to the hospital staff.

Conversely, there are probably 80–90+ firefighter/EMT crews that are within a closer distance to a person having a medical emergency, and can begin life-saving care minutes early.

But if you still view it as "the god damnedest thing" then tell the 911 dispatcher not to send the fire department when your loved one is having a heart attack, not breathing, or bleeding out...
