You may have missed the part where Fox News, etc, were celebrating the greatest economy in the history of histories. They clearly want the "good times" back. Propaganda told them Biden took it away. Not the Pandemic, just Democrats. So their crusade is justified in the Alt Reality.
 
Well that works on people who don't understand the concept of global inflation or macroeconomics Not that I really do, but I understand enough to know there's a ton I don't understand. That shit is complex. Way too many Americans say ignorant crap like "we need to run the country like we do a household, balance the checkbook" etc. because they want things to be simple. Welcome to reality....or wait, I don't *like* that reality, so I'll make up my own.

There's that "g word" they hate, "global", but time to give it up--America ain't going to be some isolated island no matter how much their childish brain wants it (nor would they be happy with the economy that would result, methinks).

GUYS when tariffs are raised 20% on foreign products and you buy say a Chinese product on Amazon you just have to tick the box that’s says make China pay my taxes and take a 20% discount.

JujuFish asked Greenman to ignore the insults. You are justifying them by posting this claim. But in my opinion your claim would only make sense if Greenman were consciously doing that.

My guess is that as a conservative Greenman has more areas if conservatives that are important to him than you do, so you can’t as easily comprehend where he is coming from as he can comprehend you. You are poo pooing values that have functioned for hundreds of thousands of years that have helped humanity survive.

Those values are real. They are worthy of respect. You are putting him down for having them. I think that is improper moral behavior. He would be morally objectionable if he consciously aims to harm you at his own expense. I think he is likely doing just that but not with conscious intent but because he does not see what we do. Your aim, in my opinion would be better served, in my opinion, if you had some respect for people who have more areas of moral concerns than you do and just argue with them as to what you see they get wrong about how they misunderstand their own moral beliefs. He isn’t Evelyn, he is wrong in his application of those beliefs.

Trump spouts all kinds of conservative moral beliefs but trump has only one real concern and it’s having the power to satisfy his lusts.

It isn’t enough to hold moral ideals. You need to understand them and apply them properly as well.

Read up on ‘moral concerns Jonathan Haidt”.
 
Is anyone else sick of people saying republicans saying that the party will be OK if they got rid of trump? He's not really pushing anything that hasn't been standard republican policy for my entire life, it's getting pretty annoying constantly seeing people pretend the republican party wasn't shit before he came along.

Fun fact about ALF - the series ends with him being taken away, likely to be vivisected. No joke. In the first episode the government says it wants to capture him to cut him open and experiment on him. Then in the last episode they...well...capture him.

Combined with the Dinosaurs finale some of these old shows were dark.

Yeah not many people understand economics and i will admit that i'm not an economics expert either but I know that running a country like a household budget is fucking dumb.

To me the most telling is the casinos. Contrary to common knowledge on the subject while he did basically bankrupt himself buying a bunch of casinos. He then started a publicly traded casino company, had that company use investor money to buy Trump's massive debts off him, then had the casinos buy stuff from his other businesses as part of their normal operations.

Basically in short the one and only time this guy has run a company with public money he scammed the investors and drove it into bankruptcy. So, it's not just that he's bad at business, although he is, he's also a thief.
