Only if you felt like spending the night in her bed.

Part of my anatomy did, but I am NOT the wham-bham-thank-you-mam kinda guy. Some romance, kissing, cuddling yes...but all the way after having just met her today...that's not me!
Then why did you ask her out? You're out of town at a conference, you picked up a chick, but wanted a long term relationship not a one nighter.

...WTF mate?

edit: just read you will be seeing her again. In that case, disregard everything I posted above. If you think you may get to know her, I can respect not going for it on the first date. Respect is good when your trying to build something. :D

She's 35...experienced with some wisdom...she knew better than to go TOO far with a 25-year-old she just met.

In terms of my personal morals and desire to be a gentleman, I don't think I should have followed her...I will be seeing her again tomorrow and at another conference in Denver in a few weeks time.

Wanted to, yes! Should have, no!

Glad to see my attempts to be a gentlemen are not the only one.

But see, it could be all subjective. She could have been specifically looking to have sex, and didn't see his actions as being "Gentlemanly" at all. So to her he could look like a clueless dolt who doesn't care about what she wants.

Of course, none of us were there but GTA. If she is someone who wants to take it slow, then it would be gentlemanly to not force the issue and do exactly what he did. If she is someone who wanted to have sex with him that night, then there is nothing gentlemanly about his actions at all.

If GTA is a gentleman, he's too good for some skank who just wants some dick. If he IS a gentleman, findind some woman who just wants a screw is settling for less than what he deserves.

Then again, if she's that kind of woman, and if he's just an asshole and thinks the world revolves around sex, then more power to him...

You sound like a jealous boyfriend! Something your not telling us??

You thought with the bigger head this time.
Just for the hell of it, you could tell her that you thought of walking her to her room that night. If she says that would have been nice (or something like that), then ask for her persmission again.

Actually a gentleman would have offered to walk her back to her room without expectations.

Well, then YOU have nothing to worry about.

I, on the other hand, think you're a tool! ;)

(...I'd probably have done the same thing, though because I'm socially retarded.)

Well, then how are we supposed to know if she wanted it, we weren't there. You can usually tell if a woman is interested by the way she looks at you, talks to you, body language, and also what kind of a kiss was it? If you got that far with a woman you've just met, why not go all the way? She probably wouldn't have gone out with you if she wasn't interested, and so you SHOULD have made a move on her.

seriously too many ppl dont understand that women often crave sex MORE than men. THEY CANT SAY THEY WANT IT THOUGH! Thats too easy.....they have to drop subtle & not so subtle hints for you . And if you pick up on the hints and make moves on them it is a test of sorts as to whether you are man enough to be boinking them. He failed the test from what I can tell but again I wasnt there eto see what the kiss was like, how her Body language was etc.
