z0mg look what they did to ati.com

Yep- It's final! No more ATI except for brand name. I told the ATI customer service dude he should've not screwed me out of my $50 MIR......

Is it just me or did the site layout change slightly in the last few minutes? They seem to have moved that ATI+AMD=new AMD banner to the other side.

Not just you.

It did move.

I miss the red. Oh well..weird things happen all the time. Take for instance my purchasing a macbook pro today, I never thought I'd purchase an Apple.

What happened to green vs red? now its green vs.. grenn?!!?

Although the image leaked suggest nVIDIA mightve used the colour black for its reference PCB compared to the greens ones theyve used for a long time.

The green in the ATi site doesnt feel right..

Oh you mean you were trying to troll (and failing) as usual. Your trolling and sense of "humor" leave a lot to be desired.

Yeah I feel dirty for having seen the new DAMIT site 😉 nVidia going with a black PCB (I hope it makes it to retail) will be awesome though.

It's all pukey green now 🙁

Can you link a direct image? I don't see any ATI green logos there but usual red and white they've always had.😕

I just mean the site.

It's all AMD-ified now.
No more red + silver/gray theme.
Just lots of ugly green.

qft dude, my X1950XTX is begging for them. However it makes me question one thing - is the reason they're taking so long not that they're fixing bugs and adding new features, but they're busy beavering away at a new Catalyst Control Center skin to match the new marketing directive? 😉

And Gstanfor - 😉

LOL why do all of you ladies care about the color of their site, or their cards, or whatever?

"Ewwwwwwwwwww I am totally NOT buying that ATI, gosh it does match my nails at ALL."

My nails are painted black, and I'm no lady. 😛

?Best Gaming PC?* 2006
Overdrive
Core2.X-Fire

that is the middle of the 3 small boxes at ati.amd.com.. so an amd site says that core2 is best for gaming =P

Probably because they're honest. 😛

Maybe they'll put out a special "corporate acquisition addition" X1950XTX with a sweet transparent AMD green HSF on it - fugly. AMD's awesome marketing at work already... IMO, they should have adopted red into their logo, as opposed to forcing the sleepy green on ATI.
