Youre not elite unless you have had a geocities webpage, and hotmail account

Had them all...

I think you're even more 1337 if you had so many websites from different providers that you couldn't remember them all. I remember this one provider that started with an 'f' but I can't remember what their name is. But I remember having an angelfire, a geocities, a homestead, etc.

I once wrote my ICQ UIN on a midterm instead of my student number.

There was a point when I'd hear the "uh-oh" even when the PC was off... or I was at the store... or work...

You're not elite unless you still remember the IP address for your SLIP server.

I made a bit of cash in HS setting up people's PCs for internet access... Trumpet Winsock FTW 🙂

Yep... done them all.
Also had an email account that was part of a freenet that I had to dial into, often times I dialed for an hour to get in. Then I had an AOL email..... then moved to a real ISP around the time that AOL 3.0 came out.

hotmail? that's not too long ago... anyone remember Rocketmail?

I remember having a free Juno account.

I had one of those too. The dial-up e-mail account. 🙂 I remember mail-bombing people. It would take hours just to download all of the messages.
