I had angelfire and geocities pages, but tripod was definately better.
What about webcrawler?
Screw altavista, anyone remember astalavista?? ;)
I had a juno account also, that was great for when I didn't have internet access... (while you were connected sending/receiving email, you could access the www! so i'd send a bunch of large files and 4. profit!)

7646433 was my second ICQ uin(first one I actually used though), I forgot the password though :(
I've had hotmail since about 96, even had emails from back then up until a couple of years ago...

There was a point when I'd hear the "uh-oh" even when the PC was off... or I was at the store... or work...
Oh man, that drove me insane! I'd swear I was hearing people receive icq messages at school, on the bus, anywhere (same thing happend with tetris for game boy... played it day in and day out for a month before 8th grade, and then I would see blocks falling everywhere, on teachers faces and everything!) I liked ICQ/Mirabilis a lot more before they were bought by AOL...

Someone mentioned mail bombing... I ICQ-bombed a few people, but did it to myself first to see if it worked... wore out my mouse opening all those damned messages.... literally, the left button broke.

I miss my netbus/back orifice days, that was fun. actually, I miss winnuke even more! especially on efnet! I loved OOB

Damn right, you're not elite unless you call up your favorite boards and download the messages to post offline. You're also not elite if you don't surf the web with lynx, and use pine to read your emails.

I guess I qualify then? Nothing like the good old days of setting up Trumpet Winsock in Windows 3.1.

Oh, and my ICQ number is under 120,000. :p

You're not elite unless you've invoked AT commands to configure your modem and you've played Seth Robinson's L.O.R.D game back in the dial-up days on a BBS. ;-)

I STILL use Excite as my homepage. Great customized content, backgrounds, and especially the TV guide. None better.

If you want to find out the age of your Hotmail account, go to the account, sign in, and then in the top right, click Options, go to the Personal Tab, if not already there, then click Secret Question.

You should find out when your account was made.

Mine's '99 :)

I don't even remember my ICQ number.

As for hotmail, I *think* it was '97, but I don't really remember.
