We don't salt the roads down here even when we do get a heavy dose of winter weather. We just stay off the roads for a while...

 
I only have a Spring & Summer car and that is a 06 Honda Accord. For Fall & Winter, I have to walk because I don't have a Winter car.
 
Same as summer. There is a 4x4 tacoma parked near my house that I rather fancy. After having issues last week, I'm impressed by the idea of a vehicle that for all intents and purposes would be impossible to get stuck in the snow.
