I did a bunch of stuff today.

Wondered why my ignition switch isn't in the right place...

Installed an OEM-sized replacement subwoofer - it's not going to shatter windows, but it doesn't take up much space. Works for me. :D

Replaced my power mirror wiring harness plug (the old one was shot). Now my driver's side power mirror works. The passenger side doesn't...that'll be fun to figure out.

Notched all four brake line tabs, so I won't have to disconnect/reconnect/bleed brake lines. Huge time-saver for whenever/if-ever I pull the struts again.

Took a photo of what's left of a strut boot. There's more here than on some of the others.

Rear struts are out

See that in the middle? That used to be a sway bar endlink.

This is why people reinforce the mounting tabs when running stiffer sway bars (that's my driver's side front strut). Fortunately I have a replacement housing already.

The front strut assemblies have been removed as well...no photos, though. I'll be dropping them off at a shop on Monday to have the tabs welded - I'll probably go ahead and pay them to install the Koni inserts as well..much faster/easier than doing it myself. I don't have a good work bench with a vice..and I have a feeling they're pretty well rusted in there.

My poor engine is filthy..gotta do something about that, too.

I put my M3 lip spoiler on my car. Don't have any pics yet.

FWIW, it's not one of those gigantic wings. It's a very discrete little spoiler.

Took yesterday off due to being maxed out on PTO.

Waxed one of my cars with another coat of Meguiars Gold Class. Tomorrow is wiper replacement with new Micehlins and a quick wahs of two of the others tomorrow.

do you find working on the duce hard? I'm between getting one and the miata. miata has a much more straight forward platform. but the duce is just so sexy, i never saw the underside of the car so i'm wondering how the exhaust system and transmission is setup.

There's not a whole lot of room to do stuff, but it's not impossible.

I haven't pulled the transmission yet, but I can swap exhausts in a matter of minutes.

I replaced the (loud) single exit Apexi n1 with a Berk dual. It sounds like this. :)

Installed a component speaker system in the passenger side door. I seriously underestimated the amount of work involved. It sounds great though. Just need a few hours next weekend maybe to do the other side :)

was planning on:

two of these

and two of these

but wasn't able to sign for the packages so it'll happen next weekend.

Also have new plugs and wires waiting, but that is a much lower priority than the front upper balljoints (bad noises from duralast replacements) and rear air springs (leaking! don't want to burn up the compressor keeping them filled).

Changed the Indexed Spark Plugs in my Insight this weekend, all three of them :) Found out the old ones were the wrong ones, off by 45 degrees compared to what the car was supposed to have. No pics, not that they would be all that exciting :p

Do you have a leak tester?

I made a little thingy that attaches to the turbo but no way to put enough pressure into the system to get anything going. Ganna see if any local places rent one.

Nothing special. Meguires wheel cleaner. That's about it. The wheels are silver, so they're just a bit brighter than brushed. Here are a few shots:
