Brewing my own beer and making my own wine. It sure ain't cheaper to make beer than buying it, but it's a lot better than most store bought crap.

Ugh! I don't mind buying the grains and hops but the equipment can add up in a hurry!

Definitely Guitar.

I've spent about $4k on my Guitar rig. And I still *want* more! Right now I'm paying off credit cards so no more gear for a while.

Fish and spudguns. Each spudgun can cost about $50 to build, and that's a lot of money to someone who doesn't have a job.

I'll have to second that car one...
ugh... bought 1st car last summer, having trouble resisting urge to spend on it until this spring....

Also, Japanese mecha scale models... I guess that's part of the anime hobby. Over $300 in models from Japan still unbuilt.

This & This + This = $$$$ and This and more.

We have 3 boats, 2 ATV's, and more fishing and hunting gear than I can ever need. Until the next time I go to Gander Mountain or Bass Pro Shops that is.

I am going to Holland for 11 days of huge walleye fishing (they call them snoek baars) in March. They get up to about 36 pounds there as opposed to about 20 pounds max here.

That should be fun. My hobbies consume me sometimes....

GOLF:
I find a way to play all the time. Expensive? I just dropped 375.00 on the new PING Driver, and felt fn great because I saved 100.00 bucks. Then I dropped 200.00 on the new PING putter saving 50.00.
I am sick.
I am lost.
