IMHO and experience you don't own cats you co-habitate with them ;) That being said I treasure my custom shaped surfboards the most as they are unique and hold many wonderful memories *wipes tear from eye at mere thought of their loss* ;)

Yeah, and you probably won't have to "get" them out. They'll be outside waiting and wondering where the food-person is at.

My new Rocky Mountain element race full suspension mountainbike. About $2200 invested in that one.
Second would be my CD collection.

Well, I was defining most valued possesion as the first thing I'd save when a fire was burning. I doubt the pictures would be the first thing for ya, although I may be wrong.

you are wrong. all my valued possessions are back in my parents house in MN. i didn't take them with me to Arizona because i didn't want to take the chance with them. Those pictures are the first thing i would grab if my house was burning. just like wedding pictures for some, those pictures hold the same sentimental value. if i hadn't gone on that trip when i did, i may not been here today.

The only thing that springs to mind is my collection of Terry Scott Taylor related CDs. I even have the ultra-rare 1987 release _Darn Floor, Big Bite_. It set me back $75 when I got it, but I have a feeling I couldn't find one to buy anymore.

sentimental values:

I don't really have any. All my childhood pics belongs to my parents. Somewhat sentimental would be my pics with all my previous ex's, pics from party etc. I have a shallow history.

Everything else, computer hardware, car, furnitures, etc are replaceable.
