I'm flabbergasted that any company out there would even take the time to create a likeness of Obama in a quest to sell cremation urns. Whether it's an example or whether it's all they sell makes no difference. It's a bizarre concept and utilizing Obama's likeness in order to sell them makes it even stranger. Some may even think it denigrating to the office of the Presidency.

You can get an Obama likeness if you wish, you can get a likeness of anyone you want if you have the money to plunk down. Charles, and evidently you too feel that this thread is some kind of affront to the president you worship so much. You are too thin skinned.

The thread was created because I can't believe any company would actually create these. Hence my statement,

Why in the world would I take time out of my busy day to read the site? There is a cremation urn created in the likeness of Obama. It's bizarre, it's strange, it could perhaps even be classified as macabre. It does not require any reading because I knew all I needed to know when I saw they made them. That it is an example of what they make is irrelevant because one may purchase one fashioned after Obama if they wish.

Read back through the thread and you will see that a number of left leaners in this forum made humorous remarks regarding this thread. They got what the thread was all about. You however, have your panties in a twist. The problem lies with you and there is nothing I can do to help you in that regard. I give you the same advice I gave Charles, you're taking life too seriously.

If the thread bothers you this much I suggest you take it to a higher authority. Remember that the thread has existed for three days now (which I find pretty incredible) so it's not ruffling any important feathers.

Serious discussion now has its own forum. That's the place to have the type of discussion a serious thinker like yourself desires and is no doubt worthy of. This forum is the lower tier. You may want to consider that it is beneath you to be here and to move on into the highbrow area where you can soar with the eagles instead of rooting around with the turkeys. You'll be a happier man.

I think part of your problem is that you think this forum represents some form of reality. This forum is nothing. It's meaningless discourse. We are all anonymous here and the brighter among us realize the implications of this.

You are in complete control here. You can peruse a forum with no interaction, you can ignore a forum, ignore a poster, not read a thread, read a thread, respond or not respond, etc. Yet, you choose to get involved and when you don't get your way, you pout and wail on and on about it.
