Wow. Not one Clapton song mentioned, granted he's so well known and mainstream now that a lot of people overlook him. And he IS mostly known for his electric stuff, but his Unplugged album was one of the biggest sellers and live albums of the 90s. Of the stuff on that album as well as a few others:

-Old Love (one of my favorite all around tunes - awesome solo work in the bridge)
-Layla
-Change the World (smooth melody)

Other Misc tunes:
-Grateful Dead ? Friend of the Devil
-John Mayer ? ?83
-Blind Melon ? Change
-The Gourds ? Gin and Juice (just funny as hell)
-James Taylor songs ? might sound wimpy, but he's got great acoustic ballads if you ever find yourself singing/performing solo in a coffee shop type environment.

Such a great song to play on the acoustic, but you will need a capo (7th fret, I believe)

Also, don't forget The Beatles' Rocky Raccoon and Blackbird (both McCartney songs).

I can play a really good version of "Daniel" by Elton John
Live has a lot of good songs that can be played
STP - Plush
Dave Matthews Stuff

I assume you mean "Busted Stuff" by DMB. (That song was crap compared to earlier stuff...if you wanna play good DMB, check anything from Under the Table and Dreaming)
Check #41 by the same band.

And, Green Day "Time of your life" Overplayed, sappy, but fun to practice.

If you're into like comtemporary rock and stuff, Incubus had a couple good accoustic versions of their songs, (Pardon Me is awesome) Jack Johnson is pretty fun to play and makes you pretty popular with the ladies :)

Track 41 on TRUSTcompany's "Lonely Position of Neutral" is a great piano version of "Hover."

Ben Harper has a lot of great acoustic tunes!

True! I forgot about that...

Another Lonely Day, Walk Away, The Drugs Don't Work.

Yes Indeed. If you check out his "Live from Mars" Album, the whole second CD is just him and his acoustic......he does some very good renditions of some of his normally heavier songs. "Please Bleed" is a great example of that.

hard to beat dashboard's so impossible EP, too.

Onelinedrawing has an AMAZING cover of Be Quite And Drive. I hesitate to call it a cover because Jonah, the guy behind Onelinedrawing, wrote that song with Chino :)

On that note, Onelinedrawing is also an amazing acoustic band. Nothing they have is bad.
