Still running a Q6600 @ 3.2, P5Q Pro, 8GB DDR2, HD5850. I think I paid about $325 total for the CPU/MB/RAM, and it was one of the best bang-for-buck upgrades I've done.

That was more than 2 years ago, and... I'm not really feeling the itch to upgrade. Hell, I didn't even know what SB was until I wandered in here half an hour ago. The last few years or so, I haven't paid much attention to new tech unless I'm tired of what I have, and... what I have is still doing me just fine.

I may upgrade to something else if a family member comes to me looking for an upgrade of their own. In that case, my Q6600 would almost certainly tide them over for at least as long as it's tided me over. And I'd probably still hold onto the HD5850.

Yeah I'm more interested in the mobile SB than the desktop. Having that decent GPU built onto the CPU seems like the ticket for power/heat/usability. I'm a little more interested in the DX11 (Ivy Bridge) mobile chips tho.. just for the sake of having up to date standards in my laptop, I'm like that.
