I just got back from vacation and now I look back it was probably one of my best adventures in a long time. The SO couldn't go on this trip because she sprained her ankle. So I took my two kids on standby companion passes to Seoul, Korea from the SF Bay area. Later, we visited Japan to watch the Tokyo Giants get clobbered by the Hiroshima Carp's at the Tokyo Dome station. We did visit Disneyland and Harajuku on Sunday, too. We couldn't get a flight back to SF so we took a flight to Chicago(just to get off the mainland of Japan). The hot dogs and deep dish pizza's were great! Plus the girl's on our trip loved shopping at Gurnee Mills...

Now that was a adventure!

You can't go wrong with Europe, the southern part of Germany, northern part of Italy, Switzerland, Austria the Alps in general, beatiful places, better food. The bad part is that the Dollar is weaker in compare to the Euro, so is not that cheap anymore.

I was there two months ago BTW
