You think your streets are bad?

On the bright side, it looks like almost everyone drives an SUV or pick-up way out there.

My streets are much worse. Country wide its the same as well. Only a fool with money to waste would get a brand new vehicle that is NOT an SUV here. Heck, even a new SUV might be a waste of money. Do you realize how badly a vehicle can age driving on bad streets day after day?

Anyway, the OP has it good compared to me.

You want shitty roads?

Drive the highways of Silicon Valley.

The richest(?) tax area in the US and the roads are 3rd world.

Where the fuck are my state tax dollars being spent?....Oh, that's right...bumblefuckistan. :colbert:

Sadly the truth. They take away stuff all the time, like the ONR, now they're talking about building high speed rail... and only for the south. We pay taxes too!

They wont hesitate to send money to the natives though, even though they literally burn it. They take their free houses apart to use for camp fires.

The current government hasn't done a much better job down here, especially if you live outside Toronto proper. There's no decent jobs and the cost of living has gone up dramatically. The province is pretty much broke but keeps spending. Hoping they get tossed out this election.

Wtf? You guys have that fancy pavement stuff? You should try driving down some of the roads near me in the spring. Several sections where it's "don't slow down or you'll get stuck" coupled with "oh yeah, and your car is going to be scraping the bottom on the road because the mud filled ruts are so deep."
