If there's a bright centre to the universe, Timmins is the place that it's farthest from. Northern Ontario is one vast wasteland of trees and muskeg that the government down here in Toronto goes out of its way to ignore.

Sadly the truth. They take away stuff all the time, like the ONR, now they're talking about building high speed rail... and only for the south. We pay taxes too!

They wont hesitate to send money to the natives though, even though they literally burn it. They take their free houses apart to use for camp fires.

That would make too much sense. Our city does not like to make sense. :biggrin:

Instead they just fill them with beach sand. Or when they do "fix" with asphalt, they just put dry asphalt there, they don't even grind it up or use a bonding agent or anything.
