the UPS driver automatically assumes if the box says Newegg and the address is on your road it must be yours.

My ups guy assumes every newegg package in my zip code is mine.

Edit: ...and he know to bring it to where I work even though most of them have my house address on them.

how do you know that he knows... that's absurd... thread PHAIL

motion to lock thread.

Probably because he's been the same driver for years now and he's commented on how I'm the only one in the neighborhood that gets packages from Newegg. At least until today.

I thought about keeping it. The intended recipient is kind of a dick and karma would say he deserves it, but I did the right thing and took the package to his house.

That's what I did and the driver and his supervisor showed up at my house the next day to investigate. I was pissed and told them I had already delivered it for them.

I doubt I''ll run into any problems I live in a rural area, and UPS just leaves packages at your door like this one was. I doubt the driver would escalate things when the proof of delivery is weak.

Meh, that's nothing. several years ago when my GF was still living in Latvia, she had an Amazon box waiting for her at the post office. There was no delivery name or address on the box, but they called her to pick it up.

--How did you know it was me?
--You're the only one here that ever receives these boxes.

the town is ~80,000 people in size.
