You know what I miss that we never see anymore?

Sitcoms or shows where characters actually age because they're on for expansive number of years/seasons...

It's cool because you actually see a progression in their character and entering life's different stages.

Shows like:
Wonder Years (always gets me)
Full House
Saved by the Bell
Boy Meets World

I'm sure I'm missing quite a lot.

Boy Meets World sucked when he got older.

That whole love thing with Topenga (sp?) was annoying as hell.

wonder years is probably one of the best shows of all time.

No doubt... one of my biggest nostalgia. I find myself relating to the guy all the time. Man I still remember the final episode... got me all welled up.

Kevin Arnold - The Narrator: Things never turn out exactly the way you planned. I know they didn't with me. Still, like my father used to say, 'Traffic's traffic, you go where life takes you' and growing up happens in a heartbeat. One day you're in diapers, the next you're gone, but the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. I remember a time a place, a particular fourth of July, the things that happened in that decade of war and change. I remember a house like a lot of houses, a yard like a lot of yards, on a street like a lot of other streets. I remember how hard it was growing up among people and places I loved. Most of all, I remember how hard it was to leave. And the thing is, after all these years I still look back in wonder.

And he says, "I'll be right there, son."

Man.

I agree.
Although I must admit that now seeing the "kids" that were on those shows as adults really is weird to me.

Speaking of Full House, Jodi Sweeden (sp?) just had her first child.
Then of course there are the Olsen twins too.

Wonder Years was the best though.

Topenga was hot

fixed.

and yea the show got so lame when they got to college. it was like the characters started to act more and more childish but they were getting older, especially the 2 older brothers.

the worst was candace cameron as one of their girlfriends but she was a witch ...

The problem with these shows is that they were all horrible except for the first few seasons of Wonder Years.

I would like to add a couple to the list:

Family Ties
Married With Children (Although whomever thought of bringing Seven into the show needs to be drug out back and be slammed like a screen door in a tornado)
Happy Days

Wonder Years was amazing throughout. Did you see the two-episode ending? You have no soul if you don't shed a tear after watching that.

Dont forget home improvement

I still watch Home Improvement when it comes on, Tim Allens best stuff imo.

wonder years was alright.

The best part about Home Improvement was Tim's neverending harassement of Al. HAhahahha AL.

Come to think of it, that show was so white. I never saw anyone of color in that show.

Um, isn't that what happens when kids go away to college? The first year or two is usually spent being an asshole and finding one's maturity... the latter part at least for some.

You don't remember Mac from Night Court being Tim and Al's boss and wanting to fire Al?
