Meh. We "hoarded" enough food to stock the fridge and chest freezer. About the only thing I really stocked up hard on was brown rice and black beans.

You should see my fish collection. I have over 100 can of kippered herring, and probably 24 cans of tuna. I was checking amazon a few weeks ago to see if there was anything interesting, and noticed herring was way cheaper for some reason, so I ordered a ton of it. It's my stock food for lunch. With all the other stuff in the house, I could stay here a year and be fine.

Yeah; people have been going crazy. I just needed to get a few of my regular weekly supplies, plus pick up a few extra things in case we can't go out easily. Most weeks, I often stock up on the cheap things things I know we'll eat over time, like soups and cereals, which makes panic times like this much easier to deal with, since I'll have a lot of staples already on-hand.

I kinda want to read about Lil Bub. That's a funny looking cat.
BUB is a very special, one of a kind critter. More specifically, she is the most amazing cat on the planet. Discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana, she was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Since then, BUB has overcome great challenges, is a published author, a talk show host, a movie star, and has helped raise well over $300,000 for animals in need.

Local Aldi was out of can tuna in water. Even with store limit of 4 cans per shopper. Luckily I only buy tuna in oil and they still had plenty of those. 🙂. But I could only buy 4 due to the limit. But it's times like this I'm glad I know how to cook and don't have to rely on typical processed food like everyone else. I have pasta maker machine so I can make fresh pasta from scratch and my wife has bread machine and she can make pretty much any type of bread from scratch as well.

What's gonna happen when you can't get milk and margarine to make your mac & cheese with? Use water? Or are they only buying the deluxe versions with the liquid cheese pouch?
