Like RH71 said there is a new version in the works with most of the features people miss in 2.x including user galleries, random gallery, NSFW tagging, and a bunch of other stuff. It's probably going to run much quicker than the current version and just stay out of your way while you use it. I am not putting in mouse hover previews, etc. That stuff just eats bandwidth and CPU.

Sorry some of you don't like the fact we had to roll back but it was in the best interests of everyone.

Oh, and 4.0 won't go live until a long public beta period where everyone signs off in the end to do the switchover. I would love to bury the 2.x today but that would only piss a lot of people off.

Well I certainly don't hold it against you... the fact that we have a service at all is the benefit of your near sainthood level generosity. I'm just giving my opinion, in that I think alot of people are some whiney doo doo heads....

agreed 100%

it looked nicer, but it was way too slow and annoying to click twice to see a single pic. you had to wait for the ultra-slowness 2x as much that way as well.

and holding down the shift key just to view pictures is also retarded. you are browsing the web. that should be able to be done with one hand...especially in the NSFW section when your other hand might actually have purpose.
