I used to turn the channel or not bother tuning in at all if a politician showed up on Letterman. It's not what I want to watch/hear on late night -- CNN gives it to me 24/7 already.

Would have thought that the masses would have wanted to see more Kardashians, Housewives, or other celebrities over politicians with primaries still months away -- election just over a year away.

haha, im not that jaded

everything was just... interesting. and where it almost looked like it can fail/be just stupid to watch, the guest saved it (tom hanks).
