I'll assume my GF and I have our cell phones on us....everything else can burn.
 
Only things of real value at my place are my PCs.

In order, i'd grab:

Main PC
Projector
Bike
20" LCD
Old PC
 
1)my family if they arent already outside
2)My cats
3)Main tower + HTPC (even if I had to cut wires to get them out quickly)
4)laptop
5)important documents, etc

I left my wife off of my list. I thought about putting her on my list, but decided against it.

I'm a terrible person.
 
no, seriously, as long as my family is all out, then i would just quickly drive all 3 cars into the garage, to make sure they are destroyed as well as all my stuff

new stuff is better than old stuff. fire insurance will buy me new stuff. profit!

The question asks about things, so I am not including people in my response.

If I am coming home, I have clothes on, my keys, wallet and mobile phone, so:

1. Desktop CPU (It's a Shuttle, so easy to grab.)
2. All my software and backup CDs (all in one holder.)
3. All photo albums and photos CDs (all in one box. All my original videos of the kids are off-site.)
4. Important documents file cabinet (small two drawer type, and it's on wheels.)
5a. If the wife is home: Put all of the above in the <1 year old van in the garage and drive it to safety. (and, if I have time, drive my POS car INTO the garage.)
5b. If the wife is not home: Grab the kids art folders (both in one place.)

Apart from the wife and what I have on me (cell, wallet, etc.)

1. My 3 cockatiels
2. External hard drive
3. Vital documents package
4. Hydrocodone tablets
5. Only number 1 really matters... I can buy/replace everything else.
 
I'd stand on my lawn LMAO and yelling at the fire, "Burn baby burn! Foolish Fire!"

The Fire Dept would arrive to douse the flames and I'd say with a maniacl grin, "Don't waste your time! [laughs] I have enough wood in the basement to build a house twice this size!!!!....burn BABY burn! weeeeeee"
 
(assuming that i have my wallet and car keys on me... and i'm assuming that the task is realistic... for example, you can't carry out the fridge or you can't carry out your desktop and monitor because it'd take too long and you wouldn't have time to "grab" them)

- a garbage bag
- an armful of shirts out of the closet (i'd throw them from the closet into the plastic bag)
- yank the hard drive out of my computer (i'd throw it in the garbage bag)
- photo albums
- my doctor's bag with all my medical equipment inside
