put it in savings.

BUT if i had to use it now. i would get myself a new computer and get daughter a new MP3 player.
 
Probably toss it in the bank. Put it towards my savings for a down payment on a home. Investing is pointless right now. Nothing is making money. Interest rates are ridiculously low. Even traditionally stable GICs are only making about a 1.15% return. I remember when my high interest savings account paid 2.25%, not that long ago. :\
 
I'd probably give $400 to the wife, tell her to go get her hair done & get something nice for herself, maybe a purse, since I wouldn't let her purchase (yet) another one in the store this summer. $200 to son #2 so he could do something enjoyable & perhaps take his girlfriend out to a nice dinner. And, I'd get a cheaper savage rifle for this year's hunting season.
 
Probably save it for my trip, got a 5 day cruise booked out of New Orleans in Jan, gonna stay in new orleans a couple of days too ... an extra 1000 would buy approx 125 drinks on the boat 🙂

Idk. Probably just save it. I had to spend like $450 on textbooks this term then an extra $126 fee (Lab + U-Pass). (And I didn't even buy my physics or calculus textbook which would add on like $200 more)

I can't remember what else, but I'm sure there will be more shit I have to pay for soon enough.

It would put me in the green again, although by a hair...

Went $500 in the hole a few weeks ago to get my car out of impound.... 🙁
After psych ward/jail, I'm 2 months behind on phone bill, scared it will be cut off any day now...
Car insurance ended last week...

Still don't have a license/ID, so I can't really be looking for a job in the area when I'm not fully prepared going in...
Still need to file unemployment, but don't have chance to go back to town until next week...
This waiting shit is bullshit. Could been had some things done.

The jail owes me compensation for how much time they kept me beyond when I was supposed to have been released. They are only giving me the run around. It sounds like I'd need to get a lawyer to see any of that money owed to me, but I don't have anything to pay a lawyer in first place...
