I still have a CoCo 2 (64k) and CoCo 3 (512k). I kept all my things Color Computer related. Still have several years subscription to Rainbow Magazine sitting in boxes. I used to type in a lot of the programs from that Rainbow Magazine. That took a lot of time, but I learned a lot about programming.

Yes I typed many pages of basic from that magazine too!

Yes, Microsoft and IBM were jointly workingon OS/2, but Microsoft sold the whole product to IBM and went fulltime with Windows.

I started with a Tandy 1000ex - an all-in-one unit with the computer, keyboard, and floppy drive all built into one unit. It had 256k of memory, which I thought was going to be great since the Commodore 64 was awesome and it only had 64k! (how little I knew then...)

I spent big bucks to upgrade it to 640k and added a 3.5" floppy (low density, of course). She finally bit the dust when the integrated graphics went bad.

But it made it long enough for me to get addicted to Bard's Tale! :)

Wow, now I feel better about paying $1800 for my P1 133 (pre-MMX, thank you very much)

I do remember drooling on this tandy, though.

My commodore 64 was in rough shape by then.
