1977 Porsche 924 .. needs a bit of work.

BUt for 500 and a little bit of work one can have a porsche.. the thing needs a some body work if any. It ran about 12 years ago apparently, they never drove it after that. The Car would need some rebuilding..

Who wants to get into this deal. Call it Pimp Mobile..

$500? depends on how much "work" is involved engine wise. how trackable are the 924s?

It's funny how that particular Porsche has like NO resale value.

Hell I've even seen 928's selling for cheap.

My bro had a 79' Porsche 924. Neat little car. Nothing like a 911 though :) He rebuilt it completely (engine / body / paint).

Looked good, but he put a cherry bomb exhaust on it, talk about ANNOYING!

924's were very well balanced 50/50 balanced, front engine, rear drive cars. They are liquid cooled and with a little work can be made a hell of a car.

Back in 95 I bought a near mint 77 924 for $500 and it ran. Turned around and sold it right away for $1200. 924 isnt the best but all girls see is the name and how much bigger your wiener got driving it.

That car is pretty rough. That's going to need thousands and thousands of dollars to get it into decent shape.

I'd have to be paid $500 to take that junk off of someone else's hands!

Thats not bad for $500. As long you'll do most of labor that is not bad at all, actually kinda good.

You should drop a small block Chevy in it! :)

Make a nice little sleeper!

Assuming the engine is bad...

that's my reasoning for buying it.

I am going to see if 300 will go for it.. 250 if max..

if the seats are any good i can make furniture out of it.. and sell it like JC did.

3.0L I-4? Those were nice. That one looks like it need a lot of work though.

The Audi-designed Porsches of the 70's and 80's (924, 928, 944) have poor resale because they are notoriously unreliable. I have always like the 928's though. Gorgeous cars.

All you have to do is get on Pimp My Ride and, voila, new porsche... of course they'd probably put some gaudy decal on the sides so the only money you'd have to spend would be removing it.

You got ripped. BTW, who TF just leaves cars in their yard for 20+ years?

Well, the door handles seem to be in good shape and it still appears to have a gas cap.....so I guess that is a plus.

You're going to be one hell of a good mechanic by the time that thing moves like a Porsche should.

Hope it works out well for you.
