This smells of BS, unless the specific excercise that induces the effect are located on or near the genitalia.

I just don't see how doing curls or running 5 miles is going to lead to this.

Endorphins?

Do you ever wonder why you feel better after a long run, a roll in the hay or a good laugh? It's not just because you've relieved exercise guilt, had a wham-bam orgasm or heard an absolute knee-slapper. That elated feeling, which can last up to 12 hours for some people, has a scientific explanation. It comes from a release of endorphins.

I dunno, Arnie is famous for saying his PUMP is more satisfying than being with a woman . . .

Frankly I have never experienced EIO (actually I haven't even heard of it till now) after hitting gym or just by doing some strength home exercises.

But I agree with dissapoint, that endorphins release can be closely tied with exercise. Also it is widely know fact, that sports&exercises can vastly improve your performance in bed. For instance the cause of erectile dysfunction (especially in younger men) is often a bad lifestyle...

Eh, it's internet survey research, so there's no way of knowing if the responders were actually having orgasms. Although I wouldn't doubt that at least some of them might have been. Just like many other physiological responses, I could see orgasms becoming a conditioned response that's linked to physical exertion and/or endorphin release. Or even repetition of certain motions.

Would be interesting to know whether or not these women are able to consistently have orgasms from sexual activity. The study said most were in relationships; I'd also wonder if this happens more often among women who are currently/were recently sexually active, and/or what other things are going on in their lives.
