hii, so i shipped the item after the buyer paid $1100 by paypal, and then withdrew $100 from the paypal account, leaving $1000 in there, later i decided to withdraw the whole lot - basically, i made 2 withdrawals, $100, then $1000
so the next day i get an email from Paypal saying the payment has been reversed because the buyer claimed unauthorized access... I didnt bother to reply to the dispute case because i have no proof that i sent it - didnt send by recorded delivery, and I know that i would lose the case.
Usually paypal would have stopped the bank withdrawal of $1000 to cover the negative balance, however since i made a $100 withdrawal beforehand, it only reversed that one, so i still recieved the $1000 in my bank account a few days later...
well now i am just deciding, if i never logged into the paypal account again, am i forced legally to pay the $1000 to paypal?
I have not got the item obviously and i dont want to lose both that AND the money due to paypals imcompetence against fraud, so yeh, how likely is it that something would happen if i just ignored it forever?
hope that makes sense...tia
