w00t! I got a new job!
It's contract but it's something, art direction position at a firm downtown in Toronto, pretty excited! I go in tomorrow to sort out the details. Now I need to cancel my EI application
----------------
Well after nearly 2 years I've been axed
It doesn't come as any surprise, my team was down to a skeleton crew with 0 work coming in, 2 layoffs from a team of about 10 yesterday, I was the last today.
Not a bad run though, I've certainly learned an incredible amount, as I took this job straight out of school.
Any advice for me? I'm not even really sure what to do now, aside from take a couple days to chill out. I know I need to go apply for Employment Insurance, but even that is entirely foreign to me. I'm in Ontario, so there will be a lot of people applying these days.
Cheers ATOT
