It's different every day. It gets slower and slower over the course of a few days until I restart my router, then it goes back up to full speed and then starts getting slower again.

The best it reaches is 4.2mb/s down, .5mb/s up.

As far as I know, shitty routers don't have enough memory in the routing table is the problem. Or the firmware is poorly written.

Much faster internet on campus though, so I don't worry about it. This is good enough for basic web surfing at home.

TWC/Road Runner in NY

I got almost the exact same numbers...which I guess makes sense considering we have the same service. At least they're consistent...plus the improvements they've made recently are A+ in my book.
