Yet another ad blocking everything

Happens on my iPhone 6 and iPad.
Totally ineffective ad because it pops up, shows its content for maybe a second then becomes “clear” so at least I can read but cannot click anything below the banner. See image

I hate to jinx myself but it appears to be gone now.
It was around a little on Friday and a lot on Saturday & Sunday.

It’s back but behaving more normally. Takes over the screen but I can scroll a lot to get past it now

Use a browser with an ad blocker extension.

From around 2017 onward, you can't browse the forums on mobile without getting those kind of ads. Annoying? Yes, but it is what it is.

oddly, I get no ads when using samsung browser on my Galaxy S5.

I use DuckDuckGo browser, does a pretty good job with built in filtering
