Yesterday I went driving

Apparently my mother wanted to see how economical my driving would be in her SUV that gets 15 MPG. >_> Not really, but I was thinking, "Boy, I hope we make it to the gas station that is over one mile away... It's also up a hill."

Kept thinking the whole time, "This is going to suck when if it stops moving."

Anyway, made it to the gas station and it said 400 mi when it was full. Always says 400, never 401, or 399...

Yet you still had 2-3 gallons in the reserve.

what?? 400 miles when it was full?

so wait you mean the tank is nearly empty? Ugh.

If you can't even write properly, please don't post.

So I can infer based on 400 miles/15mpg = 26 gallons. Hmm.

Probably, but I wish they would just be honest. If I have 1 mile left, the car better damn well shut off! :|

Are you stupid or somethin'?

Why would you shut it off when it says one mile left? It's still got a good 5279 feet or more left to go...

When it hits 0, is what I mean... It was at 1, and it stayed at 1 the whole time I was driving to the station.

PARAGRAPH 3=REACHED DESTINATION, WHEN TANK WAS FULL THEN PICTURE NOW SAYS 400 MI.

Yes..

Just in case you all want to know what car it is... >_<

Oh man, and you're the one complaining about the horrors of your poverty-stricken life.

Well on the bright side, you wouldn't slit your wrists on the sight of my '97 Elantra. My razor blades are a few years old, and some are rusty. You'd probably need a surgical quality stainless steel blade, fresh out of the package.

They spend too much on their cars and not on their homes. >_<

They do it because they don't want idiots to run out of gas. My 02 Ram says I have 300 miles on a full tank. The gas light dings and the mileage meter says 0 yet I still have about 6 gallons of fuel and about 75 miles left.
