That argument could be used by people from the middle east who orcestrated the 9/11 attacks against your country. So either you're against terrorism as a means of change or for it. I dont know if you guys have noticed that this situation got littlle to no coverage on CNN and when they did, they refered to the the Chechen terrorists as rebels, Chechen rebels. I wonder how often do you hear word Taliban rebel or palestinian suicide rebel on CNN...

Geez, Desslok, it seems that you are still living in the RedScare age. Soviets dont have anything coming their way, because there is no such thing as Soviets any more. As proven by your further posts in this thread you know nothing of the history of the former USSR and its republics, yet you manage to throw in your uneducated comments. You even played a race card where you didnt understand the meaning of words "Rossiyskiy"(that of Russian Federation or of Russia geo-politicially) & "Russkiy" (that of russian nationality or russian origin).

There are many ethnicities that were repressed by the communist regime in the former USSR. You dont see any jews taking nearly a thousand people hostages threatening to blow them up. Armenians? Russian nemtsy(germanic origin)? It seems that only those who are involved in so-called "religion of piece" find the need to resort to terrorism. Chechen terrorists are no different from those of Saudi origin, Palestinian Origin, or homegrown ones. They are terrorists who strike against civilians and thus must be persecuted. I hope that Russia has more balls than US did and completely demilitarizes Chechnya and seals its borders with the neighboring muslim states.
