UPDATE!! I GOT THE JOB! I have to go in early Monday morning and fill out some government paperwork. Steve says I'm getting some kind of basic "secret" clearance with Uncle Sam 😎 I'll have to go to either the county seat or Salem to get fingerprinted. The cool thing is that after December, if I prove myself, the job will become full time -still no word about benefits, though. 😀 😀 😀

I feel like a frickin million bucks. Tonight? A beer and a BBQ'ed T-bone. 😎

And get the printing done in your county seat (unless it is multnomah or washington) as it takes forever here in Salem. At least, it did for me.

Why minimum wage though? That's just insane. I honestly think they're taking advantage of you, but I guess it's hard to complain if you're happy.

This is exactly what I'll be avoiding. We work primarily with the local, state, and federal governments. No old people allowed! 😉

Hopefully my background check will come back in time for me to help with finishing up the entire IT setup for one of the local guard stations. 😀

It's $7.05 right now, but it goes up every year. I don't really care though. I really really love this kind of work. Plus I'll get computer parts at wholesale prices. 😀 I'll be able to build my next overkill gaming box like I did three years ago with the box I'm on now. 😀
 
I've never worked with Direct Admin. But because UU's bent over backwards for me (or so it seems) and W's been so understanding with my not having a job, I'm not going to dump my account with them. I'll keep my reseller's account with them and just host one of my two domains with someone else.
