My point is, what's more embarrassing to the ACC?

A team getting into the conference and playing to the best of their ability and losing or
A player from the ACC doing something stupid to an opposing player out of frustration/anger

Who are you to dictate who is worthy or not worthy to win or lose in the NCAA's? Everyone has a chance and all of those players out there on the court are playing their hearts out. If they made it in, they deserved to be there.

To answer the first questioni, Paul's 1st team AA again this year. Apparently, he's still respected.

State's made the case for the NCAAs on their own. They're 2-3 in the last 3 years in the NCAAs. Last year, they were a top 10 team who lost to Vanderbilt. OOC, State is horid.

thing is I've played loads of sports. he didn't "punch" him in the balls. He did a "cup check". we used to do that to each other all the time during games.

dumbass wasn't wearing a cup.

I heard not ONE fan say anything about his grandfather. This Berry Saunders asshat heard from someone that one or two students and makes it sound like the entire crowd was yelling it.

Dockery is the kind of player who throws punches at students instead of players, like last year at Wake.

Shows how much you know. Dockery never punched a WF student last year. I'm saddened to think you can defend your team that actually punches players by making false allegations about opposing teams.

Also, don't forget about Paul throwing the ball at Melchionni's face. Yeah, a real class act there.

Can't be any more embarrassing than Prosser's 2-4 record in the ACC tourney play(and WFU has been, at best, so-so in the NCAA tournaments). And the new benchmark for embarrassing the ACC is getting caught punching another player's balls.

You're right, losing to state 2 of the last 3 years in the ACC tourney is embarrasing, espescially when we swept them in the regular season those years.

The key to the second statement is getting caught, because Chris is by no means alone in what he did.

At the same time, I can say I am proud of the schedule (what may be the most difficult in the country) we played this year and how our team played it.

State played a horrible schedule and came out of it with 12 loses, while having the lowes overall academic standards in the ACC.

Let's face it WF is worse than that 12 loss team
1st Game: Hodge fvcked up again and missed a 1/4 of the game(Pack outplayed WF for the remaining 3/4 of the game)

2nd Game: NC State outplayed WF the whole game(cept from the free throw line), only officials felt compelled to throw the game.

3rd Game: Both teams without their playmakers(Paul for punching someone in the nuts. Bethel for straining his groin in a win the night before...not to mention Jules jewels were probably still bruised) WF was able to hang for about a half, then got tore up by a team that was still tired from playing the night before.

Hell they even led against Duke both times this year, including yesterday after playing their third game in 3 days. The Pack ran out of gas against the Dukies, but that is what they get for playing such an inconsistent regular season. It just looks like once again they picked the right time to come together. Even Coach K gave them props about their teammanship.

NC State does not get the kind of players that UNC, Duke and Wake Forest get, but still manage to remain competitive due to that teamwork. Let's hope some high school players were watching them play with such heart, teamwork and desire and decide to give them a look.
