Yeah, its really better that we don't. At least we can acknowledge that a good movie/actor won the majority of the time, even if we don't personally think it was the best.

The Shawshank Redemption or Forrest Gump were the better of the three films. Pulp fiction was bleh. I know every highschooler loved the movie at the time and recited Royale with Cheese to make themselves sound more intelligent than they were whenever possible. But the movie itself was not better than those two movies imo.

My main complaint about that movie was really just that it was to long winded. I wanted to complain about the ridiculous costumes but apparently it actually was that ridiculous?
