Clearly the way to negotiate with Republicans willing to discuss rational gun laws is to remind them they are assholes that have no idea what being reasonable is like how reasonable what I just said is. This will show them you can't be fooled by their charade of lies and the emotional force of your tirade will blow them out of the water and disarm them. And once thus rendered helpless and impotent, you can explain to them what reason really means.

They need to understand that your fear of guns means they have to have a powerful tool of self defense taken away so you can sleep at night because their lives mean nothing anyway, the useless Trump sucking scum bags. And thus quietly disabused of any feelings of self worth they will go silently to slaughter handing over their guns like meek rats. Liberals, hurray we've won the day. The brilliance of our willingness to compromise has won the day.

I'm sure they will admit to the effectiveness of such a position just as soon as I announce to them that the level of their imbecility transcends that of stupid apes. And having presented the rational truth to them that they are dumber than door mats, I am sure they are all anxious to agree with me who now has the cleanest of feet.

I appreciate you defending one of the most horrific posters on here because you are blood brothers because you both are against any reasonable gun safety legislation.

OH GOD YOU GUYS!
YOU GUYS I DID IT YOU GUYS!
I SOLVED MASS SHOOTINGS YOU! GUSY!

guys i did it. i found the real solution to mass shootings.

If we passed a law that every time America has a mass shooting the cops clean up the mess and then immediately, for one whole day, the entire country goes into a period of mourning, for exactly 24 hours.
During that time NO ONE, not individuals or groups or corporations are allowed to buy, sell, trade, move, transit, or otherwise conduct business, or provide anything beyond basic emergency services.

I call it the "Thoughts And Prayers Law", cuz its what Jeezus would have wanted and anyone who denies it, is a communist nazi jesus-hater, or a Jew.

I PROMISE YOU, somebody somewhere some place in America WILL find a real solution. And very quickly too.

I appreciate you defending one of the most horrific posters on here because you are blood brothers because you both are against any reasonable gun safety legislation.
In the first place you have no idea what I would consider reasonable gun safety legislation because I am not smart enough to have thought out all the angles so I have no idea myself. I know a few things I support.

Secondly, my intention wasn't to defend anyone in particular, just to point out to you what an ass you would have to be to think you get anywhere with anybody insulting their asses. Certainly, if that would work you would have in your post here, not criticizing me as an evil defender, but falling all over yourself to hear what I call reasonable and make it your own. I mean, surely you got the fact that you are too stupid not to need my help, right. Surely you can see the absurdity of your approach because using it on you produced a big fat fail. Love you.

Evade, dodge and weave.... 😀
Yep, that's all you do here. Instead of directly addressing the question of why do you vote for candidates who don't support the positions you claim to be for you tried to deflect.

But on the off chance you might be honest. I'll state that I vote for candidates who at least claim to somewhat want to enact policies around gun control that I agree with. I am disappointed that in the last 25 years we've done fuck all and the problem of mass shootings in this country has only increased. I'm disgusted whenever a politician asks for thoughts and prayers and says it's too soon to talk about policies that may be enacted. Which is exactly what happened in this case. Democrats haven't been able to enact the policies they claim to be for but they at least claim to be wanting to do something and I don't see anyone on the GOP side willing to even do that much.

So now I ask you. Why do you vote for candidates who don't support the policies you've claimed to support in this thread? It's a straight forward question.

I'm not a single policy voter. I don't just vote for banning guns. I am all for gun regulations that are common sense. I am not for an outright ban on guns. I can see banning the AR15 and the like, but the odds of that happening are so small it doesn't exist. Plus how would you collect the ones that are already in the wild? It just isn't feasible.

I have voted for Democrats before, but they have swung so far to the left in recent history I can't vote for most due to the offset issues. I think a lot of the things I posted below would at least curb some of the shootings. They need to enact this with LAWs and not executive actions that can be reversed with the stroke of a pen.

For Starters off the top of my head:

Limited magazine sizes on all civilian weapons to say 3 to 5 rounds.

Ban assault rifles with a clear definition of what an Assault rifle is. We would need to figure out how to capture those already out in the wild.

Waiting periods for the purchase of any fire arm, minimum at least until after a meaningful background check is completed.

Red Flag laws that are enforced with confiscation of guns.

Must be 25 years old to purchase or own any fire arm.

Mandatory documented training requirements for all.

Parents should be held accountable and banned from ownership if their children get access to their weapons.

Reopen Mental Health facilities like they used to be with mandatory retention in some cases for the good of all. We have way too many mentally handicapped people walking around with no supervision or care. Granted it isn't always nice to be in one of those. I worked at one back in the late 1960's. It wasn't pretty, but they were well cared for at least while I was working there for a couple of years.

Too many hard heads all around. Unfortunately nobody wants to compromise.

Good grief, another liberal anti gun fanatic. 🙂

Thank you. Btw I think if you limit ammunition capacity to 3-5 rounds I don’t see a need for an assault weapons ban.

Personally I would ban all semiautomatic weapons.

But trying to come up with a definition of an assault weapon that isn’t instantly bypassed by some loophole I think is damn near impossible.

Good grief, a liberal gun obsessed fetishist
I might take your anti gun sentiments seriously if you could honestly say that if you or someone you loved were murdered by a nut with a gun and you could go back in time and reverse the outcome with a firearm in your possession you would refuse to do so.

Only one question, would you take the do-over or not? Yes or no!!

Say that to the thousands that have died since the assault gun ban expired

His words are as tangible and real as thoughts and prayers. It's easy to say shit when you won't back it up with any action.

I wish I could. Do you think that, if they could be brought back to life under the condition that they relive the event armed to the teeth or not at all, they would choose to stay dead?

Oh come on, what a cop out. There have been more than enough mass shootings surely it can't be inconvenient to find just one person closely related to a victim and tell them how much you fetishize guns? You wouldn't even have to travel far at all there have been so many.

Lame. So many gun fetishists are so low effort.

And believe it or not I agree with all of that except banning all semiautomatic weapons.

Funny you should mention copping out. Remember, yes or no? I knew you would not answer. Only a fool would go into a gun fight unarmed and you can't admit that your position would make you the fool you are not. Knowing your lack of emotional control, you'd be blazing away at anything that moved. Haha.

Your question is stupid. It assume's that everything is solvable and preventable if we are all armed. I know that is simply not the case. I know that more guns equals way more gun violence. I would not change the entire well-being of society for one emotional and personal moment. You would. Please start going up to mass shooting victim's families and ask them all that, then beg and plead for them to fetishize guns like you do if they say no.

Let me ask you. How many bullets would you take if it meant protecting every pro gun Republican politician in Washington DC from being killed instantly, thus preventing that moment of chaos the Dems could have to institute sane gun laws? I mean how many because I'm sure you'd take waaaaaay more than one bullet to stop sensible laws about your fetish.

It's foolish to create a system where everything is a potential Gunfight.

Background check for ALL gun transfers. Gifts or purchases.

Let the States figure it out. Want to ban firearms across the board, let a state vote for that. Surely there's a handful of States that jive with your ideals you can relocate to if it matters that much to you.

States rights matter.
