I am sorry to hear this. I am sad for the people who were killed. I'm sorry for the school. It's tragic.

I am sad for the narrative. Transgender people already have a large target on their back and are already heavily scrutinized.

I already deal with enough death, suicide and homicide people. I would love to just treat people with accidental trauma and regular illnesses. God, that would be awesome.

I find it fascinating that you are so different. Instead of an outpouring of rage and contempt at 2nd amendment defenders, your feelings are all about sorrow for the victims, for the existence of our current state of affairs. I wonder what could have happened to you to make you this way. I sense a person so trapped by some inner sense of moral constraint there was no other outlet for your suffering than to evolve as the only escape, to die on the cross knowing the only way out is to love.
 
well it seems I was led astray. The shooter was a female who wants to be male - a trans male I guess. Unusual a female is a shooter but...

Hale shot through the door so doesn't seem to be a case where someone left an unlocked entrance.

I think this is a case for both. 2A defenders want all guns for anyone at anytime without restrictions. So many Republicans across the country are making it easier for these kinds of tragedies. More guns and less responsibility. Those are the despicable people. They are willing to sacrifice kids for their assault weapons.

At the same time I feel for the parents of these kids. Noone should have to endure this kind of trauma.

I also feel for trans people. They are already being needlessly targeted by Republicans and it will just get worse for them as the right peddles a false narrative.

We saw this coming. Hardened school and quick response by police and this still happened. Still waiting to see if guns obtained legally.

It has been 3 decades since I graduated, and the hatred that school taught me still burns hot. The monsters it created went on to fundamentalists colleges, and became the leaders of the faith we now have that preach hatred, bigotry, racism, and violence every chance they get. It is not just on Sunday, these days the congregations are setup to provide activities every night of the week for the "faithful", alternatives to the world of sin. Continuous indoctrination.

There is no amount of mental torture that would justify killing children, and this wasn’t an individual who just suddenly snapped. It seems to be premeditated murder.

There is a lot of trans hate out there and a lot more coming unfortunately, but if individuals start to think they need a “second amendment solution” against state-sponsored tyranny, they’ll get no sympathy for killing children.

Over at Fox, they are heavily pushing the trans thing and how this shooter being trans equals a hatred for religion. Naturally, Fox would push this agenda. Imagine if the shooter were black, would Fox blame the fact the shooter was black? No... Fox wouldn't dare because Fox couldn't get away with it. However.... a trans person???? THAT Fox CAN INDEED get away with because its open season on the LGBTQ people. THEY have no protections. Blacks and hispanics have protections, but not the trans community.

The mass shootings are tragic, but I can't help but wonder just how bullied and demonized this trans person went thru in this religious school? To undergo such humiliation day in and day out might turn ANYONE into a mass killer. It doesn't take much....
And what the fuckin right wing media AND Fox News is now doing only adds damage to the situation. Only adds to the humiliation that trans people must endure. If Fox and the fuckin right wing maga trumpies would just LAY-OFF the trans thing then maybe this mass murder would have never happened, not to mention future mass shootings happening.

These people are only human and there is a limit to what abuse they can take. They just want to be left alone to live their life as they see fit and that includes open conversation in the schools and getting the medications they need. When ""government"" thinks they know better AND impose harmful legislation out of their fuckin ass, THEN we have a problem. Justify? There is not going to be any justice in any of this. Justice ceased being relevant long ago.

They make monsters. In order to make the monsters they take one of the children who is a bit different, and they sanction violence and etc against that child. The other children entertain themselves by causing suffering to the child who did not fit in. It teaches the class to be entertained the suffering of the other, and they lose their empathy for any who are not part of their group. They create sociopaths, in mass. Afterward, they carefully define who gets to be a member of the group.

However, the child who does not fit is is shattered, and what puts itself back together years later is a bit random.



This is how preachers are created. It is a system that has always been accepted and taken for granted. Ideas such as sympathy and justice have never been relevant.

This is how God fearing upstanding Christian's happily created a system that would murder gay men in the 1980s. Sympathy and justice were not particularly relevant back then either. They did not feel a single human emotion as they casually murdered 324,029 US citizens, because they were lead by monsters who had their humanity stripped from them long ago in schools just like Nashville Christian School.



They have declared war on LGBT people across the US this year. In the statehouses and on the street. People are dying. It all starts at this school and others like it. We are being slaughtered. Justice? Sympathy? They ring a bit hollow.
