If our side had a spine and balls we'd do what those anti-Trump republicans did a few years ago and devise ads that ridicule them. How is it in this age there's not more creativity in political ads from the left?

Others will become more motivated. At some point the Republican's will begin to bend. Or they will just lose harder rendering them moot.
I'm not so sure. I've been waiting on such motivation since just before the 08 elections when the tea party rose up. Am I expecting too much from younger people? If they can edit videos for Tiktok they can learn an editing program. Going out and protesting with signs doesn't have the same appeal as disseminating digital materials. As much as I like to call young people lazy they did a decent job with their little tiktok charade and donny dumbo's rally.

And thank fucking jeebus. The state is already shit-stained enough, and too much of the fuckery was allowed by the conservative majority SC over the past decades. Some return to actual rule of law instead of partisan legislating from the bench would help, I hope. Tired of conservatives running roughshod over the state.

I was yet again called a pedophile. This time by an old high school friend on facebook.
Friend: "I think maybe, and this might be hard to hear, a lot of these bills are trying to protect children from being sexualized. Me: I guess I'm a little confused. When I read your comment, it feels like a generalization and includes me in the midst. I am part of the "Trans" community. Do I deserve a millstone? Be careful with stereotyping every transgender individual as a pedophile. It's simply not true. I have a good friend whose dad is a pedophile and is essentially living out his days in house arrest. There are a lot of transgender people who are good, honest people who want nothing more to live their life and not be judged for who we are. We are not monsters. The transgender community is a lot more diverse than the typical stereotype of some sex crazed individual. There are doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, lawyers and computer programmers. Many still are part of their families. Others are shunned because of their existence. While I cannot attest for every person or situation, I can attest toa lot of the good people who are transgender that I do see. I very much care for the welfare of children just like most people. Drag, by the way, is not transgender. Please do not equate the two.
Me: I am happy to try carrying on appropriate discussions here or on messenger and I am happy to answer questions. One of the things I have always been hopeful for is bridging understanding.

Sorry to hear this. When I get these kinds of rants, I ask for peer reviewed scientific analys data/statistics or other non Alt-fact research to back up their laughable, fear driven ignorant claims. They go quiet a second then accuse me of being pedo sympathizer. I laugh in their face stating, every accusation is a self projection. Quit projecting and denying yourself and get help.

As a christian your friend should be more worried about his own house, priests seem to be molesting children far far more than any trans people (as a matter of fact I don't think I've seen a story about a trans person molesting children). Meanwhile it seems like there's at least a story a week about a priest or pastor molesting kids, sometimes for decades with the church protecting them.
