i would think so, he supposedly created humans and we are sinful. IMO, god comes off as a bit of a screw up in the bible. i mean come on.

A being that is everything, would include evil.

You are looking at it from the typical limited human perspective.

I thought evil came from satan, who was a former angel of God. The angel then wanted to become more powerful than God. When God found this or something he banned him from heaven.

The answer is that both are lies created in the mind as human coping mechanism for coming to grips with the very very vast universe around them.

If there is a god(which I'm pretty sure there isn't) she simply created and humans put labels on everything.

How is this a limitied human perspective? If God wanted us to be able to understand, why did he/she give us a limited perspective? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of him wanting us to believe in him if there are so many hypocrisies in religion.

But he could have just not created evil and still left us free will. And if you are going to argue that he needs to let us choose evil as well in order to be free, you have to be saying that you know that good and evil are it and there are no other choices which god has not allowed us to know.

I think I read somewhere that evil is simply the absense of good. Thus evil is the absense of God and not the presence of a part of God. Kind of like how darkness is the absense of light and cold is the absense of heat.

Your comment is inherently flawed because evil doesn't "exist" just as darkness does not "exist". It is only the lack of light that causes darkness.
