YAR(oommate)T: His girlfriend spends basically every night at our place.

So I have a problem, my roommate is a great guy, but his girlfriend is ALWAYS here and I'm not sure how to deal with it.

It's not like her being here is invasive, but having a third person in a small-ish place does throw off the vibe, and I also don't like that he never tells me that she's going to be here. Most of the time I come home and I know she's here because her shit is all over the front entrance to our place.

Now, am I justified in saying something even though 75% of the time she inst' in our common space? They are never at her place because she still lives with her parents, which is inequitable, and it imposes on me. Usually she comes over on a Friday or Saturday, and it makes me feel like a third wheel in my own place.

If so, what should I say? I've got two hellish semesters of school coming up and I don't want to tiptoe around my own place because she's always here. When I stressed out because I've got a ton of assignments, I don't want to have to be the courteous host, I don't want to have to be the nice guy because someone comes over and I didn't invite them.

Slippery slope either way...can she cook? does she clean the place up?

She doesn't do shit, at best she just goes straight into my roommate's room.

But I'm pretty sure she has a key and keeps a toothbrush here, which is fucked up, and sometimes she hogs the bathroom.

At worst she hogs the living room because she comes over and studies.

Oh, that is not cool...and she has a key? that should have been agreed upon between you and room mate

You're in school? I thought you had a nice job at some online sex toy retailer or something? So I'm guessing that was never a longer term job?

Anyway getting back to the topic, what have you said to roomate? How do you guys split the rent?

I did that while going to school at the same time, and now I work from home which means having her here is an even bigger distraction.

I *think* she has a key. Sometimes she sleeps in when my roommate has already left for school/work and when I wake up after she's left the door is locked.

It's not like you to post asking for advise here. You are throwing me for a loop. Aren't you usually the take charge fuck what others think type? Aren't you supposed to be yelling at me to get laid already or something?

Sorry. I just assumed. You know, because of the way you were whining like a bitch.

Anyways teh frustrating thing was that I went with all the girls to their places because... ding ding ding my roommates girlfriend was over here and that woulda been awkward.
