Sounds like a Loser Mariners fan. Well get use to it because they shot their wad and won't be worth a good god damn for another 10 years. Go A's!I'm in Oregon, west coast sucks (baseball wise)
The Dabacks but not the Ted Turners. They will fold like they do every year.If you and others want to pay money to see the Braves or D'backs send the Yanks home emptyhanded again, that's fine with me.
Probably true. I'm still a fan tho since they're much less adept at losing than our other pro teams here in Atlanta.Originally posted by: Red Dawn

I don't know what would be worse, never making the Playoffs or making them each year only to fail to win the whole thing year after year. I remember when the A's had a run in the late 80's and early 90's and lost to teams that they should have creamed. It was worse than them not making it at all. Now getting beat by the Yankees isn't that bad as long as you give it a good effort and don't embarrass yourselves (like the Mariners did last year)Probably true. where's all the yankees fans when i need em?? i got tickets to Division series home game 3, and ALCS home games 2 and 3 yeah baby!!!!
You have to be kidding. The only reason the Twins clinched the central this year is because everyone else in the AL Central is pathetic. The Royals? The Tigers? Beating them is like beating up the retarded kid in a wheelchair next door. Technically you won the fight, but it wasn't much of a challenge was it? I wouldn't be surprised if one of the AL West teams ends up in the World Series this year. They're both kinda hot 'n cold from week to week, but I think it's a definite possibility.Originally posted by: Aceman

Well at least you'll get to see one game before the Yankmees are eliminated.
Unless you bought tickets for the Metrodome to watch the Twins send both teams from the AL West home.
