Yeah, your favorite team blows, so root against the other NY team.
Yeah, as if many Yankees fans don't hate the Mets!
The Mets fans hate the Yanks because they are jealous. Mets blow, why would they hate them?
I'll admit that
I know most yankee fans dont hate the mets, but most Met fans can't stand the yanks
Mets spend close to yankees money, but end up in last place
Team Salaries Sorry, the Mets do not spend "close" to what the Yankees spend, unless you count approximately half to be "close". Yes, they have the fourth highest payroll in baseball, and they are still an embarassment, but lets not kid ourselves here. No one spends like the Yankees do

So just how many did they score off of the HIGHEST PAID PITCHER ON THE YANKEES?
DAMON HR HOLY SHT 8-1!!!!
See the worst thing about losing to Boston would not be that it was Boston, nor will it be the fans, it will be having to read all your crap over and over again.

You'd be saying the exact same things if the Yankees were winning.
Forget ME buddy, if Boston wins you will see every Boston player come out with a book about THIS game, as well as any sport where a team is down 0-3 in a 7 game series...Originally posted by: RedPickle

The NY fans are gonna' riot.
heh, well they're still 4th highest, so they didn't back off by much. I'm pretty sure the Yankees payroll has been growing at a much higher rate then anyone else has been backing off.Originally posted by: MrDingleDangle

if you go back a couple years it was close (remember the mets have been near last for 3 seasons now)
after they hit last with either the 2nd or 3rd highest salary they backed off
