YANKEES CHOKE!! RED SOX WIN!! ****OFFICAL YANKEES/RED SOX ALCS GAME 7 THREAD****

I figure the original thread has become too big and has also turned into a P&N-ish flamefest.

Anyway, I said three days ago that there was NO way the Red Sox were going to take four in a row from the Yankees. Now, I'm not so sure.

I'd definitely love to eat my words. As an Astros fan, I would LOVE to have the Astros vs. Red Sox in the World Series. Neither team has won a major league championship; I figure it would be great to crown a new king.

But, regardless of what happens, this game is going to be baseball at its finest!

yes the game will be great, i always figured that the series would go to 6 or 7, i didnt think the sox would be down 3-0 tho, i figured they would take 1-1 in NY and then take 2 in boston and come back to NY ahead 3-2, o well gonna be great tonight anyway

this come back from 3-0 is more exciting anyway, if it had been a usual series, i probably wouldn't even watch game 7, but since theres the chance of the biggest choke in sports history i figure i'll tune in for it.

can the Yankees hit the knuckler tonight ? That's the question. If they get on, they better take advantage of a 65mph pitch.

Lowe is starting.
Damn what happened ? All night I heard Wakefield.

i thought it was decided that Wakefield wasn't pitching...

edit: already confirmed above 🙂

DLowe gets the start, but Wakefield will be pitching for a few innings. Also, don't be surprised if Pedro comes in to close.

Go Red Sox!

Oh, and what a performance by Schilling last night. Regardless of your favorite team, you have to respect the way he pitched last night. He didn't have his best stuff, but he battled through the pain and pitched 7 strong innings.

I would love for pedro to come in and lose it again.

And Schilling pitched great, but sucked the first time out.

Not much surprise here on the fact that New York is about a 3/2 favorite

Boston Lowe +155
New York (AL) Brown -165

Over/Under of 10.0

We need an over/under on the time length of the game.
I thought last night's endurance race was going to be a fairly quick affair but it still ended at just under four hours.

Attempting to revive this thread because the other has been hijacked by a rabid fan and become a flamefest, and i think im getting dumber reading the circular logic used
