Damon ALCS Reggie Jackson, new record 6 RBI's. If Yankees lose, biggest choke in history of baseball.

its wayyyy over now. time to let Brown go, the man is done. He cant pitch anymore.

Yanks need a starter or two, quality starters!!!!!!

OMG im shocked.

Yanks need to realize in the past they won with pitching not hitting. They need patient hitters who hit singles and doubles and draw walks, Arod and Sheffield arent needed. But since we have them, too fckin bad!

OMG

I have to admit, a grand slam and a HR the next inning! That is nuts. The yanks really need to step up.

Yeah, your favorite team blows, so root against the other NY team.

Yeah, as if many Yankees fans don't hate the Mets!

The Mets fans hate the Yanks because they are jealous. Mets blow, why would they hate them?

I'll admit that

I know most yankee fans dont hate the mets, but most Met fans can't stand the yanks

Mets spend close to yankees money, but end up in last place
... although they did win the season series convincingly IIRC.

Man, is this game over, holy christ... I want again to commend George Steinbrenner for, in his infinite wisdom, getting Sheff & ARod when faced with 3/4 of his starting pitching staff leaving.

Who could they have gotten though? Only argument I know is that they should've re-signed Pettite, but he's injured and not even pitching this postseason, so that argument doesn't work.

Team Salaries Sorry, the Mets do not spend "close" to what the Yankees spend, unless you count approximately half to be "close". Yes, they have the fourth highest payroll in baseball, and they are still an embarassment, but lets not kid ourselves here. No one spends like the Yankees do

See the worst thing about losing to Boston would not be that it was Boston, nor will it be the fans, it will be having to read all your crap over and over again.
