thx for reaffirming my thoughts on their fans.

Heres how. When the Yankees play the Red Sox, I cheer for the yankees. When they play anyone else, I dont care. I also root for anyone who plays against the Red Sox.

I'm more of a hater of teams than a fan. I root for teams to lose instead of win. (with the exception of my beloved Badgers)

Yeah, I'm not a big Yankees Fan or Red Sox Fan, I wanted to see the Yankees win just because I'm from New York. However, just because the curse was lifted, doesn't mean that Steinbrener isn't going to go out there and buy the best players he can to get the job done.

The only reason I'm not a Boston fan, is the fact that they won the world series, I don't want to jump on the bandwagon. I really liked what I saw when they were playing against the yankees and that they weren't bought like the Yankees were and they just wanted it more.

Guys like Jeter irritate me... he just acts and looks cocky...

Johnny Damon on the other hand looks like he could live down the road from me in the rural parts of NY.

I was thinking of you when I was watching the game last night.

Its very strange to be an outsider looking in.

Yeah, but if that were the case, the Yankees would win zero in the next 1720 years. I'll take that :)

Thanks, I have to tip my cap to the Yanks, they were tough adversaries. I tip my cap to the Cards for having polite fans, but not as a tough foe. I have to tip my cap to the Angels for the rally monkey at Fenway, that may have just annoyed the Bambino enough to sedate himself for 11 days.

Which reminds me, I have to save all of these Boston Globe/Herald papers. Annoying how they come out with 10 different papers with 10 different (well 3 for the Herald, 2 Globe really) covers just so they can sell more. Gonna get em framed though, this is a once (well hopefully more than once) in a lifetime event! ;)

yeah, and it will also the same amount of time for another team to blow a 3 game series lead...the yankees didn't just suck, they set a new record for suckage.
