Do you really think the yanks will even go 3 years without winning a WS? I doubt it!

I don't know, but the Yankees had the biggest collapse in baseball history, arguably in sports history.

STFU Gobadgrs. I'm a huge, diehard Yankee fan from birth, but we got humiliated by them. It's Boston's night, they beat us. Let them celebrate.

Thanks :)

I must say, as tempting as it is to hate all Yankees fans, you just have to respect some of them.

All that matters is the Sox championship.

Sore losers!

They already have...this year marks the 4th actually. Last win for Yanks was in 2000.

Are all Yankee fan sore losers?

It's true that they went 80+ years without winning a World Series, but they aren't the team that will be remembered for the biggest choke evAr in any sport....

Click me, yankee fans :)

No. It's not easy to lose, especially in the way we did. It was humiliating.
I hate and always will hate the Sox but I respect what they accomplished.

ha. hundreds of millions of dollars and celebrity status, yet the yankees can't even win. That's like the prep school kid doing worse on his SAT than the public school kid from the bad side of the tracks.

that analogy sucks. The sox have the second highest payroll in the MLB, so its not like the public school kid beating the prep school kid.

So what if the yankees buy world series, it normally works. It didn't these past 2 years, so George will make some moves in the off season to strengthen the team.

Expect to see Carlos Beltran in Pinstripes, perhaps Pedro if he decides to leave the sox. I think Pedro will stay since this win probably mended the differences between him and the city.

Jesus I hope not. Give me Eckstein, that guy plays the way the 1996 Yankees played.

yes, the yanks need those type of hungry players who play rough and dirty. Cairo is one of these guys.

We need more O"Neill's, Knoblauch's and Scott Brosius's, we dont need more Arods or Sheffields.

Also, we need PITCHING!!!!

I agree completely. We don't need Beltran. We need pitching more than anything. We need to remember how to play little ball and not just sit back and wait for a HR. This years Yankees prided themselves on having the most comeback wins, that's NOT a good thing. It means your pitching sucks.
