YAMT: Good Charlotte yay or nay?

I neither like nor dislike them. They're just OK.

 

All new punk that has come out in a last couple few years sucks ass. They need to label it something else (i vote for "garbage").....

What happened to bands like NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion, 311 (before mtv), etc......

Only new bands that have been coming out are playing reggae/punk out in Cali and Hawaii like:

Pepper
Slightly Stoopid
Expendables
etc....

All these white stripes simple plan less than jake (they used to be ok, now they are ghey), yellowcard (gotta hate that f'in violin),etc are horrible, I mean they really suck!

GC... they are ok, but I got bored with them rather quickly.

Heard a song my daughter was listening to. Downloaded a couple of their songs. Found them to be catchy and the lyrics were cute. But it got kinda old pretty quick.

But I am probably a lot older than most of the rest here. We listened to punk in the 70's and 80's and most of it sucked BIG TIME, but ..well... ahh, rebellion was a remarkable thing, didnt matter if it sucked or not, if it drove the older generation mad, it was wonderful.

However, she has a cd of punk covers that are wonderfully annoying!!
