Sounds like #2,3 are the typical 'nice' things 90% of us say when #1 goes right over someone's head.

You've been strung along and abused and toyed with. So here's the deal: FVCK HER, MAN! Do you understand?! Don't even speak to her anymore, unless she calls you, and then you don't stop to chit-chat, or "give her sex tips", or anything else. You say: "Look, what do you want, and why are you calling me?" And don't be nice about it either. That's IT. Period.

No. She said #1, and then was sad, and then said #2 and #3 on HER OWN. Ask someone who has read the conversation. They were completely her own words without my inspiration.

You know, its funny, how one month a girl can be all over you, looking into your eyes, smiling because she's so happy, so proudly walking down the street with you at her side, saying she loves you, cuddling with you all night long face to face, nose to nose, practically kissing all night long because of how much she cares.....

only weeks later to completely change, string you along, get confused, and eventually "realize how well you treated her" even though she won't try again and is screwing another guy.

I think I'm either too mature for her, which is why this boggles my mind so much, or I've done something really wrong and I can't pin point what it is.

and that's what i'm scared about: I know I'll find another girl. Its whether I'll find someone who made me as excited, nervous, and happy as she did. And whether I can find another girl who will put me in a dream world like she did. And most importantly, find another girl who will cuddle with me all night long. I'm addicted to cuddling. All night. Not letting go. If the girl rolls over I get pissed. I hope I can find another girl like that.

OK.... so here's the deal.

I just realized something. When we were talking on Monday night on the phone, and being all cute (which is what made me think hey MAYBE something can happen, she's being really cute and flirty with me...), this is what was said:

Her: "Matt, I know how you feel."
Matt: "You know that I love you still?"
Her: "Yes"
Matt: "Well, this is in your hands. If you want something to happen, all you have to do is make it happen."
Her: "I know."

I'm just realizing now, that she basically was saying "Yes matt, I know you're obsessed and I can come back anytime when I'm ready."

Maybe that explains the "I still love you, no one will ever hold me like you did, but hey, I'm gonna keep ****** this guy."

hrmph.
 
This sounds like the exact same thing that I have been subjected too for the past 5 months. GF broke up with me found some other guy. Still calls me sometimes and makes it seems that she still has feelings for me. Finally after a call at 4am and talking to her afterwards I told her to not call me again. It hurts I know, but I cannot be subjected to this treatment if I am going to move on. She has completely changed from my standpoint. She has lied to me a number of times since we broke up and it is like she is not the same person. The hard part for me is that we are going see each other from time to time at events throughout the year. When I see her again and if she comes up to me I am going to act like I have not met her before because she is not the same person anymore.

NOT AT ALL! I wasted so much time stressing over her and trying to find ways to win her back, and I realize now it was just a complete waste of energy on my part. I kept thinking that we would someday get back together, but now in hindsight, I realize that the relationship was not what it should have been nor would it have lasted had we gotten back together afterwards. Sometimes, even though a relationship may have had promise at one point, you realize that events make a future impossible. even if we HAD gotten together again, there had been too much pain and hurt from the break-up that we would have never been able to put it behind us and grow together again.

So is there anyone here who after reading the conversation feels I was completely wrong? (most people have said "Stay away from her, she's weird" or something of the sort to me so far)
