Yamaha 24x Burner @CC B&M 19.99 after rebate

Circuit City has this burner for 49.99 with a 30.00 mail in rebate. I have this burner and it is great it has an 8mb buffer instead of the normal 2. It is as fast as a 32x and it has 40x rip.

HOTTTT but here in MI I can't find one . They are probably discontinued.🙁

Maybe in a store nere you, Check because Yamaha has been excellent for me.
 
This is a sweet burner. It has a special Audio Master recording mode/option that allows your Music copies to sound as good as the originals. I can hear the difference in my recording. The one thing it does tho is reduce the capacity of the CD, since it "stretches" the audio tracks to sound better.

If you can't find it at CC, try Staples. Although not as cheap, I did see it for $85 before rebate.
 
This is HOT! In my experience, Yamahas are the best burners, with the possible exception of Plextors.

hehe... I think he meant Plextor, not Pioneer (I didn't know Pioneer made CDRW drives, either 🙂 )

🙁, none at either of the CC's in Raleigh, NC.

In fact, there weren't even any label for yamaha burners...guess they were regional clearance items?
 
The ones at Best Buy had the Audio Master stickers on them, the ones at Ciricuit City did not. I got a price match at BB. They were not happy!! They sell for 129 at BB with 30 rebate.

Is the 24X just as loud as the airplane like 16X? I am going to go see if CC here has them for this price. 🙂
