So heres the deal I have been at this same place for several years and have always done the weekend rotation due to my kid. We have weekday shifts the normal 8-5 coverage and then like a 12:30 to 9 or something close to those hours.
We just brought someone on to fill a vacant 12:30-9 about a month ago. This week another colleage announced they are leaving to go into private practice and their coverage was the 8-5. Now the person just hired is moving into the 8-5 slot without any kind of interview or the position being posted in any fashion.
Can they even do that without going through the interview process at least? Technically its the same position but different hours so I am not sure how that works.
Any insight would be great guys.
